Suggestings, Offerings, and the Responds: A Trip to the Supermarket

written by: Jasmine and Yustin

That morning, these girls are planning for their lunch, even though they just breakfast. They decided that they would cook by themselves. They couldn't decide without any bickering and some disagreements. So, peek at their conversation.

J: "Hey, how about we cook for lunch? It'll be fun."
Y: "Sure, let's do it at my house. What will we make?"
J: "Um, let's do something simple, so that the chance of failure is smaller."
Y: "What?! That's not fun though! Let's challenge ourselves by making something hard, like rendang or something."
J: "I'm okay with the idea of challenge, but if we want to make rendang for lunch, we won't finish it on time. We'll finish it by the time for dinner or even tomorrow!"
Y: "Oh, right. I forgot that rendang takes a lot of time to make. I still want something a bit challenging to make for lunch though, with less time needed."
J: "We could make spaghetti if you want?"
Y: "That's not a bad idea! Can we make the carbonara one? Pleasee."
J: "Sure, I'll search for the recipe then we'll go to the supermarket."
Y: "Will do, I'll get the car."
